Preparing Missionaries to Spread the Gospel

World Hope DC Metro is a non-profit organization based in Hyattsville, MD with a mission to help others prepare eternally. We coach teachers and preachers to share the gospel, win lost souls, and evangelize those who are suffering. Our organization trains short-term missionaries to go to various nations and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through tracts, songs, dances, crusades, and conferences for men and women.

The Beginning of World Hope DC

Our non-profit organization was founded by Dr. David Janney in 1997. A mutual friend introduced Reverend McKinley Battle and Dr. Janney. During this introduction, Rev. Battle found out that they both had a heart for God and the lost people.

World Hope has missionaries around the globe, and has established churches in Africa and other countries. The local chapter of World Hope was organized under the umbrella of World Hope. Rev. McKinley Battle, with his wife Helen Battle working diligently by his side, serves as the current director of the local chapter of World Hope, which focuses on DC Metro and beyond. Over the years, the local chapter of World Hope has received sponsorship and support from corporations, small businesses, churches, and individuals.

However, there are people from different nations who have not been blessed in this manner, so assist them with your generosity. To introduce African Americans to missions, and to train them to teach other missionaries to become team leaders. World Hope DC Metro helps other pastors and Christian leaders to reach the masses of hurting individuals.
